Of wild boar and porcupine roadkill
Am now in the middle of bum-fk nowhere in the heart of gulyas land, heading north-east back toward the Danube before I point my nose south to follow the Danube Bend into Budapest. Twas very mountainous today with thick forest on either side of me. The road kill consists of gargantuan snails, porcupines and - are you ready? - wild boar piglets!! Spotted a squished specimen on the road but it was so swarmed with bugs that I couldn`t pull out my camera for a snapshot. However, I did see the back end of a wild boar duck into the forest. It was black, hairy and had a curly-q tail so am assuming it was a wild boar rather than one of the local men.
