A different kind of "Dancing Building"

To the right is a detail of the window in the National Theatre building on the left. In the window, a very David Cernyesque L.E.D. outline of a gogo dancer is shakin' her booty for all she's worth. All this set against one of Prague's most important cultural institutions: the National Theatre. Yet another great example of the marriage between old and new. You have to hand it to the people of Prague. They have a good sense of humour, even architecturally.

  1. I guess I get what they were trying to implement and it probably looks better from a distance. Does the dancer "dance" or is it static? I don't think the implementation looks very good up close, kinda like putting the square peg in the round hole comes to mind.
