What am I, a Frank Gehry chaser? Seems so. It would appear that Frankie built the "Dancing Building" before his Bilbao Guggenheim masterpiece but his style is unmistakeable. The glass portion is affectionately referred to as Fred and the straight section to the right is Ginger! Rumour has it that the inspiration for Fred's tapered waistline came from a neighbour complaining about having his view to Prague Castle cut off.
The other building is a lovely example of a peaceful coexistence between old and new. Now that's the way to do it.
I am not a Frank Gehry fan but after seeing his work on the AGO and now this building I guess I can like some of his work because this building is freaky cool!!!
